Job Opportunity: Experienced Contract/Part-Time Trainers Wanted
Join the System Source team as a part-time or contract trainer at Maryland’s leading computer training firm. Training is mostly on-line so you can provide virtual training from home! With rapidly growing demand for training in AI and Microsoft software, we’re looking for subject-matter experts who thrive on inspiring and educating others.

We’re seeking trainers for:

• AI Courses: ChatGPT, Microsoft 365 Copilot, and other AI software.
• Python for Excel: For data analysis and automation.
• Microsoft 365: Beginner to advanced training including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, M365 file management, SharePoint, and Power Platform.

• Hands-on experience as a user and trainer in one or more of the above areas.
• Exceptional presentation and communication skills that engage learners.
• A passion for technology trends and a knack for translating complex concepts into clear, actionable business lessons.
• Flexibility to deliver training virtually (99%), in-person, or on-site.

System Source, a 65-person IT/AV consulting and integration firm, is hiring a Classroom Engineer for our Learning Center in Hunt Valley, MD. Reporting to the Director of the Learning Center, you will ensure the technical success of instructor-led training throughout the Baltimore-Washington region. We have proudly served this region for 44 years. This is a hybrid role including both remote work and on premises, based on business needs.

• Build, document, and deploy error-free classroom images ahead of scheduled classes
• Maintain image inventory
• Coordinate instructor testing before class start
• Support classroom servers, virtualization environments, and network connectivity
• Prepare and support open-enrollment, private and rental class environments
• Provide primary technical support during live sessions (in-person and virtual)
• Ensure classrooms are fully reset and ready before and after sessions
• Collaborate with Sales, Operations to meet tight timelines

 Required Knowledge & Skills

• 2+ years of experience in desktop imaging, deployment, or IT support
• Strong Windows OS and Microsoft 365 proficiency
• Experience building, maintaining, and documenting software images
• Working knowledge of networking fundamentals (wired & wireless)
• Hands-on troubleshooting under time pressure
• Highly organized with strong documentation discipline
• Professional communication skills
• Ability to occasionally travel to Hunt Valley and client sites in the area
